Pupil of Robert Couturier at the E.N.S.A.D., Claude ABEILLE won the Bourdelle prize of sculpture in 1963. He is now a member of the Institute of France, at the Académie des Beaux-Art. The world inhabited of his sculpture surprised us, intrigued us, worried us all at the same time. His research on abandoned clothes, not liberated from the human footprints, on his heads without any faces are a metamorphosis of the human condition.
Gualtiero BUSATO develops a very free and baroque style of sculped figures from his imagination... Among his sculptures, you will discover his favorite themes : the Flights, the Meetings, the Gemini and the Masks. He has created monumental fountains, like the Dialogue's fountain located in La Défense, Paris, or the Messenger fountain in Angers (3 meters high).
JIVKO of Bulgarian origin, associate of the Ecole de Paris , has developed a traditional style of modelling while proposing extremely rich variations on his personages, constantly renewed. The Gallery has already presented his work twice, in 1995 and in 1998 and will organize a new show in June 2002.
